बालविवाह न्यूनीकरण तथा लागूऔषध दुर्व्यसन विरुद्ध सचेतनामूलक कार्यक्रम सम्पन्न
मिति २०८२/०२/०९ गते शुभ बचत तथा ऋण सहकारी संस्था लिमिटेडको आयोजनामा सामाजिक उत्तरदायित्व अन्तर्गत मेहेलकुना स्थित होटल डल्फिनमा बालविवाह न्यूनीकरण तथा लागूऔषध दुर्व्यसन विरुद्ध सचेतनामूलक कार्यक्रम सम्पन्न गरिएको थियो।
कार्यक्रम संस्थाका अध्यक्षको अध्यक्षतामा सम्पन्न भएको थियो। कार्यक्रमको स्वागत मन्तव्य शिक्षा उपसमिति सदस्य श्री भोजेन्द्र शर्माले राख्नुभएको थियो भने संस्थाको परिचय व्यवस्थापकद्वारा प्रस्तुत गरिएको थियो। कार्यक्रम सञ्चालन बजार प्रवर्द्धन शाखा प्रमुख श्रीमती मञ्जु पुनले गर्नुभएको थियो।
कार्यक्रममा मनोसामाजिक परामर्शदाता श्री दिपेश शाही ठकुरीले सहभागी विद्यार्थीहरूलाई उत्प्रेरणामूलक परामर्श प्रदान गर्नुभएको थियो। त्यसैगरी मेहेलकुना अस्पतालका मेडिकल अफिसर डा. अल्फाज अन्सारीले बालविवाह तथा लागूऔषध दुर्व्यसनका कारण स्वास्थ्यमा पर्ने असरबारे जानकारी दिनुभएको थियो। साथै मेहेलकुना प्रहरी चौकीका प्रहरी कर्मचारी श्री रमेश बिष्टले कानुनी परामर्श तथा सचेतनामूलक जानकारी प्रदान गर्नुभएको थियो।
कार्यक्रममा नेपाल राष्ट्रिय माध्यमिक विद्यालय, ज्यामिरेका श्री आत्माराम शर्मा, बलदीप इङ्गलिस मिडियम बोर्डिङ स्कुलका श्री सुनिल लामा, देउती इङ्गलिस मिडियम बोर्डिङ स्कुलका प्रधानाध्यापक श्री किशोर शर्मा तथा सूर्यज्योति माध्यमिक विद्यालयका प्रतिनिधि श्री ज्ञानबहादुर कामी लगायत प्रतिनिधि शिक्षक तथा अतिथिहरूको उपस्थिति रहेको थियो।
उक्त कार्यक्रममा विभिन्न विद्यालयका जम्मा ५६ जना विद्यार्थीहरूको सहभागिता रहेको थियो।
कार्यक्रमले विद्यार्थीहरूमा बालविवाह तथा लागूऔषध दुर्व्यसनका सामाजिक, स्वास्थ्य तथा कानुनी असरबारे सचेतना अभिवृद्धि गर्नुका साथै सकारात्मक र जिम्मेवार जीवनशैली अपनाउन प्रेरित गरेको विश्वास गरिएको छ।

Awareness Program on Child Marriage Prevention and Drug Abuse Conducted
On 2082/02/09, Shubha Savings and Credit Cooperative Ltd. organized an awareness program on child marriage prevention and drug abuse as part of its social responsibility initiatives at Hotel Dolphin, Mehelkuna.
The program was held under the chairmanship of the Chairperson of the institution. The welcome speech was delivered by Mr. Bhojendra Sharma, a member of the Education Sub-committee, while an introduction to the institution was provided by the Manager. The program was facilitated by Ms. Manju Pun, Head of the Market Promotion Branch.
During the program, Psychosocial Counselor Mr. Dipesh Shahi Thakuri provided motivational counseling to the participating students. Likewise, Dr. Alfaz Ansari, Medical Officer at Mehelkuna Hospital, shared information on the health impacts of child marriage and drug abuse. Legal counseling and awareness regarding related laws and regulations were provided by Mr. Ramesh Bista from Mehelkuna Police Post.
The program was attended by representative teachers and guests, including Mr. Atmaram Sharma from Nepal Rastriya Secondary School, Jyamire; Mr. Sunil Lama from Baldeep English Medium Boarding School; Mr. Kishor Sharma, Principal of Deuti English Medium Boarding School; and Mr. Gyan Bahadur Kami, representative of Suryajyoti Secondary School.
A total of 56 students participated in the program.
The program aimed to raise awareness among students about the social, health, and legal consequences of child marriage and drug abuse, while encouraging them to make responsible and informed decisions for a better future.
